CITEC Confirmation Working Group

Charge

CITEC summarized the state of IT at UT and made recommendations for the future. As the formation of ITLC fulfills one of the CITEC recommendations to establish a group that links past IT governance efforts with the changing IT environment at UT, it is appropriate for ITLC to understand the reasoning behind and have an opportunity to weigh in on the final status of the CITEC recommendations. While 85% of the recommendations have already been implemented, 15% cannot be or should not be implemented as recommended due to new information, changes in direction, or infeasibility. Recommendations for the following services will be the primary focus of the review and discussion effort.

  • Continuous Integration (Jenkins)
  • ID Center
  • Integration Services -Enterprise Service Bus (ESB Mulesoft), Rabbit MQ and Application Programming Interface (API) Registry
  • Networking, Voice, and Telecommunications
  • Personal Network Access (PNA)
  • Service Management (ServiceNow)
  • SharePoint on Premise
  • Terminal ID Printing (Mainframe)
  • UT Web
  • Workload Automation (Stonebranch)
